The Catholic Church in Finland is formed by only one Diocese, that of Helsinki. It comprises the whole of Finland. The Bishop’s see of Helsinki is vacant since May 2019 when H. E. Msgr. Teemu Sippo S.C.I. resigned. There are eight parishes – two in Helsinki, the Capital city, and then in Turku, Jyväskylä, Tampere, Kouvola, Oulu and Kuopio. There are about 30 priests working in Finland.

Diocesan administrator is rev. Fr. Marco Pasinato.

The Catholic Church in Finland has about 15.000 registered Catholics, half of whom are native Finns. The rest of the Faithful come from at least 100 different countries from all five Continents.
